Day-Surgery/Physician Appointment Assistance

Best In-Home Service Inc. offers individual assistance for all out-patient procedures, day surgery and doctor appointments. This specific plan of care and time frame is based on the specific needs of the patient, doctor's orders and the type of procedure or appointment the client is preparing for. These procedures/appointments may relate to ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedics, neurological, cardiology, or plastic or reconstructive surgeries. If you are dealing with an area not listed, BIHS can customize a plan of care for your specific needs that will include transportation to and from the appointment or procedure, as needed.

Procedure/Surgery Plan

BIHS caregivers may assist you in the following care plan:

* Arrive at your home the evening before the procedure with the intent of staying for a 24 hours
* Assist in following the out-patient preparation kit
* Assist with any restroom needs throughout the preparation course
* Maintain 'no-intake-by-mouth' status
* Provide transportation to and from the procedure
* Oversee recovery from the procedure, along with meal preparation and housekeeping.

Home Transition Services

It's always good to come home, but for those who have been away from it for an extended period of time, due to a hospital or nursing home stay, it can also be a difficult transition. Our care providers are fully committed to making living at home again, as comfortable as possible. From the hospital bed to your own personal bed, and every detail in between, we want to make sure that home is everything that it ought to be for you.

New Baby Program

At Best In-Home Service Inc. we offer a special service to mothers and fathers adjusting to parenthood. From special needs to special love, we want to be there every step of the way to make sure that the experience of having a new addition to the family, is an enriching one.
